This…this is why I do what I do. I received this message from a groom (Ryan) right after photographing their wedding. With his permission, I am sharing his words. If you want to check out their wedding photos, you can view them here.

Kelly…I have to admit I was surprised when we arrived for our first meeting and we entered into somewhat of an interview process to see if we would work well together.  It never crossed my mind that how we got along would impact the way the photos took place and how they impact so much of the overall day. But in the most sincere and honest way possible I’d like to tell you how you took the most nerve racking day of my life and turned it into something that I’ll never forget.
I’m a fun loving guy and a happy one and I always have been. But one thing i am truly not is an outgoing guy. You not only erased that nervousness in me you actually made me feel confident like what I was doing was on point. Because I’m so introverted I am extremely good with first impressions and getting a sense on people. You’re one of the most genuine, fantastic people I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. You treated my girl like she deserves and you made me feel better about myself and my wedding. I don’t want to pump your tires too much but I can honestly say I don’t think our wedding would have been the same without you. Not having you there would have made things harder than not having me there, and Tina standing by herself at the “kiss the bride moment” would have been pretty awkward.
In closing I just want you to know that my memories of my wedding day will be as follows. My wife looked amazing, it was the happiest day of my life and finally kelly is the fucking man. Don’t forget that. Thanks again and all the best to you.

Ryan (and Kristina)
