PYRAMID LAKE RESORT WEDDING, JASPER

There are few places in the world that hold the majesty and freshness of Jasper. For me, this is one of the most beautiful places I can think of to get married, and I am always excited for my next trip to visit this magical place. So when Paulina and Kevin contacted me about their mountain wedding at the Pyramid Lake Resort, just north of town, and situated on the most beautiful lake…well, you can imagine my excitement!

Not everyone is lucky enough to have such a warm and wonderful group of people in their lives, as these two. From the moment I met anyone from the wedding, I was immediately made welcome and quickly felt like one of the guests, rather than one of the vendors. They laughed easy, smiled often, and if I could choose one quality and place it above all the rest, this might very well be it. Lucky for me (and everyone), Paulina and Kevin also share a tight bond which seemed to grow stronger and stronger as the wedding day progressed, as you can see in this short slideshow of their wedding day.

Jasper is beautiful. And all the more so when you get to enjoy it with people who make your heart sing. We travelled to some lovely places, watching the clouds play in the sky. And as the sun set on a gorgeous summer day, they even found time to sneak away for a quick paddle around the lake. This wedding was a great family affair, full of laughter and heartfelt speeches, and I’m so happy to be able to share the images here.
